How do you get warcraft 3 maps to work?

I tried downloading the final Fantasy custom map for warcraft 3 the frozen throne. I saved it in the right spot. when i find it in the game i click on it and it doesn't work. whats wrong?

Well for a custom map like Final fantasy for example you download it like from a site like epicwar.com then you Go to your warcraft3 folder gointo maps then into the folder download you place it in there then you go into battle.net go to custom games go to create and then go to the folder download and select that map put a name and click create
If you can host then people will join and bam you start the game and play
