What is the best class in World of Warcraft?
Im planning on playing World of Warcraft soon but I want to figure my avatar/character now. I just cant choose a class. I want to know what is the best class to you in your opinion and WHY it is?

1. right now druid is the best class, they can heal, dps, and tank, i will try troll druid because of the racial2. the best class is called "dont start playing that game it will ruin your life" if im correct that is the best class
3. It's a bit subjective but I'd have to say MAGE! they have the highest damage around right now and its really easy to level a frost mage since you have a permanent water elemental to help you. Pull one by one, but you can handle multiple monsters at later levels.
If you dont like dealing sick damage though, be a healer or something, like a priest or shaman. But i'd totally be a mage all over again.
4. Ok, my favorite class is the shaman....and yes this game could probably ruin your whole life but who cares it's fun right?! Anyways I suggest the paladin or Rogue class, because
A: Cheapest Classes now
B: They both pwn
also, they play 2 very diffrent roles, one stealths around and backstabs ppl like ninjas and the other smacks you with their sheild and calls the down holy might infested within him.

5. I like how 1 person said druid is because they can tank, heal and DPS. So can Paladins.
Also with the new patch its kind of lame how you cant be in tree form as a druid all of the time.
Anyway. Right now I'm leveling a gnome priest, with the new release of Cata in 3 days I thought I'd take advantage of trying to level her to 80 by then.
So anyway, right now I'd say priest, or mage. Although thats all I've played since the patch.

6. Hey, thanks for asking a question. I can definatley help you out today. In my opinion druid is the best class to start out with. The druid is a hybrid class, meaning it can take on different roles. The 3 roles in this game are tanking, which means you take all the damage and you are a protector, healer, which means that you heal your allys and make sure nobody dies, and a dps which stands for damage per second. DPS classes are stuck to only doing dps, which means they have a limited playstyle. Druids can shapeshift into animals to perform these roles. I recommend a druid as a first character because a druid can tank, it can do melee damage, it can do ranged damage, and it can even heal. It can do all of these roles very well. Druids start out as a ranged damage, they cast spells that have a nature theme. At the very early level of 8, you can become a large cat, which does melee damage similiar to a rogues playstyle. At level 15, you can get a bear form, which allows you to tank, and so on. The druid is themed for nature and is very fun because of its ability to be able to perform all roles. 9. Well my fav is a Mage, I do epic damage and you get all the fun stuff like turning people into cats/sheep/rabbits/monkeys to name a few. You can turn invisible, make copies of yourself, teleport yourself to any major city, or put up a portal for your friends to travel to other cities, which can make you some easy in game money since they took out the city portals for people to use. I love my Mage, but if being a damage dealer isn't for you, then a Druid can be fun. They can turn into panthers or bears or birds. It's cool to just jump off a cliff then turn into a bird and fly away! Druids are probably the most versatile class because they can do ranged magic damage, melée damage, be a healer, or a tank (the person who takes all the damage for their party). Oh yeah Druids can turn into manatees too and swim fast. Hunters are cool too, you get to find almost any beast you want and tame it and rename it! It's really fun lookin for rare beasts that will turn heads when you're in town. They pretty much use a gun or bow while their pet picks the fights.
10. well there really isnt a class which is the best at everything but there are classes which are just extremely overpowered at specific things such as a mage has the highest dps in the game with the top end gear and can 2 shot people at pvp but can get killed easily with a well placed silence or stun.
paladins are great all rounders they are great tanks can heal very nicely and there dps is also good and with all there emergency buttons like hand of prot.its difficult to die in pve and is a pain in pvp with their second hammer of justice stun.
rouges are the most cheap class in the game which requires no skill at all with their back stab, blind, and poisons.
IMO Paladins are the most easiest and is quite fun to play having the choice of the 3 different specs. But my favorite class is a warlock because of how good they are in pvp.
11. Objectively speaking there is no 'best class'.
Subjectively speaking, I like Hunters and Priests the best. However, because it's subjective, you might hate playing those classes, so that doesn't really help you more than a little.
However, you are also asking WHY it is, which might help you.
Why I like Hunters: I like having a pet to tank for me, and to feel like they are my companion along the way (even though I don't play on role playing servers much). I like doing lots of damage from a distance, and being able to drop agro with Feign Death, and give the tank more agro with Misdirection. I like seeing my name very high on a damage meter.
Why I like Priests: I like being able to cast shadow spells at enemies. Even more, I like to heal allies as a Disc Priest, while doing damage (with Smite, primarily) on the side. At level 80, sometimes I was 3rd or 4th place for damage out of 5 people...and that's while I was the healer! (Healers aren't required to do damage at all.) I like hearing people say "Nice Heals."
12. Okay, from personal experience I have been playing wow for 2 years, I have a level 80 warrior that I don't like very much. I have alts of every class except a warlock. My friend and I are making characters together through the Recruit-A-Friend later today. You just have to think, what would I like to play? Would I want something to heal other players? Would I like to hold the monsters? Or would I like to deal damage, then consider what kind of damage you would like to deal, there are ranged classes and melee and they all play differently. Some classes are overpowered but they don't stay that way long at all. Some classes are harder to play than others also. Try going to Worldofwarcraft.com and reading character traits....For the Horde. :D
13. Totally roll a paladin! :) They are awesome, can tank, dps and heal and I like them a lot cause I usually roll a human class. They can wear plate and also can have sick armor/weapons. I found this class to be one of the most fun classes, with mage and druid as 2nd and 3rd place.
