I have just built a new gaming PC. Want to play World of Warcraft for the first time, where do i start?

1. Download the free 14-day trial off of their website. It may take a while however. I would suggest making many characters to start, playing all the different classes to find out what you like. Then go on youtube and for example, type in "level 80 warrior world of warcraft," and see if you like the look of it for when you get to that level. It gets better the more you play it, maybe a bit too good :| When choosing a realm to play on, make sure it is normal, that is the best for a new player. Have fun anyway, oh, and if a friend has the game, you can use their installation discs I believe to install it, but then you have to update with patches anyway which take a while.

2. probably the trial.

click on the bottom right one picture for the basic world of warcraft. you can upgrade your account later if you want to keep playing. but i would really recommend buying the disc, its much faster to just install it and comes with a month playing time.

3. Get the game? Just kidding!

Any of the race and class combination are fun. Despite the complaints, I've found that Horde and Alliance are pretty equal for the most part. Play what appeals to you!

If you're looking for easy leveling and a gentle learning curve, I'd personally suggest Hunter. Most people find the learning curve very easy and having a pet can make tough encounters that much simpler. When I say "pet" -- hunters can tame animals to fight by their side. So you can pick up whatever animal you'd like: tigers, bears, lions, and much more.

However, all of them are really a lot of fun!

4. You can download a 10 day trial at www.worldofwarcraft.com BUT if you want to send me your email address (email me through my profile), I can invite you for a 10 day free trial but you will get triple the experience and I can help you out some. Or you can just buy it from retail store, either way works.

5. Well, First I suggest going to their website and downloading the 14 day free trial. (what im about to say isnt alloud :P) You can download the game off of WoWBeez (This thing called a private- 3rd party- server) They have downloads for mac and pc, all the expansions. I suggest trying a private server first just to see what classes you like at 80, because theres no point spending months leveling sombody to 80 when you wont enjoy playing them at 80.. (end-level) I do suggest you still play Retail (Real, 15 dollars a month WoW) Because private servers are no fun after a while :P

6. I was lucky when I started because my boyfriend helped me out a lot, so if you have any friends who play, get them to recruit you for free and you get triple xp, so you'll be max level in no time with a lot of help because you're leveling with someone who knows the game. And if they don't know the game, then you can learn together. It's always much more enjoyable when you play with someone. Not saying it's not fun on your own, because it is. Just keep google handy if you don't know the game, it really helps :P

7. DUDE if ur gonna start playing i suggest i recruit u cuz we level 3x as fast and theres a bunch of benefits for BOTH of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS REALLY WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Normally it would take like 5 hours to get to level 10 by urself, but if i recruit u it will take like 1 hour. no joke. and 10-20 would take like 3 hours and 20-30 would be like 19 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
