When world of warcraft is installed on my computer my internet stops working?

I have installed World of Warcraft. Not even Burning Crusade or Wrath of the lich king. Just the original World of Warcraft. My internet stops working on my computer. Any suggestions?

1. yea heres a couple: one- if you have a router with a wireless connection, try moving around the router. if you have a wired connection, try calling the customer service people.

2. Was it a legit copy, or a stolen download?

Not accusing you or anything, but a considerable number of downloads on p2p file sharing systems contain viruses and other junk (the only time I have ever actually had a full-blown virus on my machine was when I tried to download a CD crack for Doom 3 - but that was years ago).

If it's legit, it might be trying to automatically change something in your network/internet settings to allow you to play online, but due to the type of internet connection/network you are connected to, it has instead screwed it up (not unlike many 'automated' things).

You might be able to adjust the settings and get back on - otherwise you might need to contact your ISP for help getting it back up (make sure to write down what you do).

I need to dig it up, I made a basic VB program once - all it did was pop up and ask: 'Windows can automatically f**k things up for you - would you like windows to automatically f**k things up?, click 'yes'.

Clicking 'yes' brought up a fake blue screen of death - clicking 'no' was a rickroll:
