How do I play tower defense in Warcraft 3?
I know there is a way to play a tower defense mode in Warcraft 3 so i have 3 questions.
1) Is it a mod and if so where is the best one available
2) How would i install it
3) How can i access it after it's installed

1. There is no "tower defense MODE", but there are several (thousand) maps that are tower defenses. Some popular ones are Wintermaul for Reign of Chaos and Gem TD for The Frozen Throne.1. download map from website online
2. copy map to C:\Warcraft III\Maps\Download\
Here is how to play it solo:
1. Open up Reign of Chaos or Frozen throne and click "Single player"->"Custom Game"
2. Navigate to the "Download" folder.
3. click on the map.
To play it with friends/online:
way 1:
1.learn to host.
2. host map online.
Way 2:
1.go onto battle.net and find a custom game that is a TD.
2. Join game.
2. There are thousands of Warcraft 3 TD Maps on the internet. You can find them on sites such as epicwar.com and hiveworkshop.com
1. I enjoy Legion TD and Green TD
2. Download and save the map to C:\Program Files\Warcraft 3\Maps\Downloads\. If there is no downloads folder, create it. Make sure your Warcraft 3 is patched to the lastest version (1.24).
