1. not yet but i will soon, just got of the phone with my daughter, she read the books. and played the game, she said is cool and have a lot of scary characters, i will see that soon . peace out, can't wait.2. I just tried a demo of it this weekend. It looks to focus a lot more on teamwork. The monsters are a lot stronger and if you don't work together you will get stomped. I like how it plays though very smooth, a lot of fun.
3. They've simplified a lot of things, like skill checks and combat.
I don't really like the "powers" you get, but for simplicity's sake they work alright.
And the finally got rid of the useless bards. That's pretty awesome.
And the Monster Manual is a lot different, and a lot of the monsters are beefed up and stronger.
It's pretty interesting to see another edition come out, I started playing right at the tail end of AD&D 2nd edition, when 3rd was being released. I guess we'll all just have to play through it and find out what we like/don't like.
