How do I download the new world of warcraft patch?
Hi. I was wondering how to download world of warcraft patch 3.0.8 and also i saw a guy in the game shouting that you can create death knights without a level 55 character on the server (my server is firetree) is that true? Thanks.

1. you have to have a 55 character on the account to have it on any sever now. not just a 55 on that realm.i would get it from Fileplanet.com it will be the fastest way to get it because the blizzard downloader is garbage.
2. You need admin. user for it to download...just click it like you usally do when you play and it should download the stuff for you automatically. Also allow it to pass if you have firewall.
3. no you need to be level 55 that guy was probably messing with you. and if ou have the blizzard downloader it should automatically download when you start the game. ( you dont want the new patch it sucks )
4. When you log into WoW, the patch will start to load, and then you hit restart when it shows up on your screen.
It is true you can create a DK on any server (1 per server), but you do still need at least 1 lvl 55+ to be able to create one.
5. You can download any patch from the WoW website too.
6. Well you still have to be a level 55 to start a death knight but you can now change servers to have a 55 like for instance if i have a lev 55 on terokkar i can go to argent dawn and create a death knight so you can have more then one death knight now and about downloading the new patch i don't know how to answer that but i can say it might be your firewall my dad could answer that question for ya
7. I won't repeat the answer about DKs since everyone has covered it well.
But you can also open your WoW folder and find a file called "Background Downloader". Double click it and it will open and start downloading your patch data if its available.
