What should i download to play world of warcraft private servers?
Okay so i wanna play world of warcraft WOTLK private servers but i dont know what to download in order to play. What files should i download before i download the patch?

3. You download the game. Then you patch it up to the correct files.

4. Eventually you'll need to buy it. You can download it ofc, but you need to make an account to play it.
You better go into a game store and buy the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. You'll have the game plus one free month of play. After that you'll have to pay for it a monthly fee.

5. Just download the WOTLK client, go into your C:// drive, go into program files or where ever you saved it, go into data/enUS/realmlist
then copy everything in the realmlist and replace it with the realm list/IP of the server.

6. Being able to do more than characters playing on the LEGAL realms may sound like fun, but it gets boring really fast. Also, having everything won't mean anything because everybody else on the realm will have everything too. Also, it's illegal. Not according to Blizzard's rules, but according to the actual government's laws. You don't want to play on a private server. Blizzard is actually suing people who host private servers and winning.
