Do you need to have the Original World of warcraft installed before getting wrath of lich king? Do you need to have the original world of warcraft before getting lich kings. And also does wrath of the lich king have burning crusade in it as well? Or do i need to it as well.

How do i resolve Wrath of the Lich King failing installation at 75%? I have installed the first two versions of WoW with no issues. I shut off virus programs during install, i tried copying files to new folder off of Lich King install CD then installing in safe mode with networking, and installer still fails at 75%. I am not sure what the problem is, as the other two versions have installed just fine and i can play the Burning Crusade version just fine. Blizzard Updater also works just fine. Wrath of the Lich King after installation/ launcher problems. Help please? I have contacted Blizzard, but I just want to know if anyone else can help now. After installation I tried to launch World of Warcraft and there is an error message after I click it. It says: "Launcher requires write permission to the World of Warcraft registry key to successfully locate and run the game. Please enable write access to the registry key using an administrator account. My blizzard account is upgraded. In properties of WoW(on my computer) the write access is checkmarked. I already have the WoW game client downloaded with the burning crusade add on (now comes with the original game) And i'm looking for a free download for WotLK that would just add itself onto the game, without having to do any extra work.
